Born and raised in a small town just outside of Philadelphia, Katelynn has always had a passion for media and journalism. In high school she was selected to be a student member of the Bensalem Township School District board of directors as a freshman where she was able to give reports to the community from the students' perspective. This opportunity opened a door to the school's media communication and broadcasting class (Owls Television Network or "OTN") where she would realize her love for photography, cinematography and the use of social media for community building. Despite attending college to receive a Bachelors of Science in Education with a Physical Education focus, Katelynn has recently been blessed to gain more experience in the world of media as a cinematographer for WeLive.Hockey where she also assists in the upkeep of associated social channels. Her work with WeLive.Hockey opened her eyes to her natural talent for producing leading to her current position as producer for the podcast Geeks Who Like Sports (2019) which is hosted by Ray Carsillo and his best friend Lee Elias.
